Emily Bruner
Emily Bruner is a southern girl, performer, and educator with a passion for theatre for young audiences. She earned her BS in Elementary Education from Florida State University and her MA in Educational Theatre from New York University. Emily is a freelance teaching artist and an artist’s assistant for the Park Avenue Armory. She is a proud ensemble member of Trusty Sidekick Theater Company and has performed in their original productions of The 7 1/2 Mysteries of Toulouse McLane, The Haunting of Ichabod Crane—both performed at the Park Avenue Armory—and Up and Away, a piece commissioned by Lincoln Center Education for their 2015 season and designed for children on the autism spectrum.Her Wombat performance credits include Aunt Betty in Moore & Sons and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her vices are coffee, records, and the Strand’s 48 cent rack.
