Tom Charles Bair III
Tom Charles Bair III is a multi-disciplinary writer and editor. His first long-form project is ProphetsFourProfits.com, a new media metafiction featuring an eponymous self-help guru and self-proclaimed prophet who uses blogging as a talking cure. Poems have appeared in Provincetown Arts and Review, The Chronogram, and Ragazine, and he was a finalist in Write Bloody's 2011 Manuscript Competition. He is the cofounder and editor-in-chief of the art incubator Circus Book. A frequent collaborator with Wombat Theatre, he developed the concept and helped write The Poets Were Liars, in which he also performed. "The Book of Labors," a meditation on the condition of love from within poverty, was performed in conjunction with Wombat's Foor for Love. He lives in outer Queens in a neighborhood he has nicknamed Oz.
